Ozeri Elite Ceramic 3-Piece Knife Set Review

A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of reviewing an Ozeri Stainless Steel Earth Pan so I was thrilled when I was asked to review something else from Ozeri. Ozeri has so many amazing products that it took a while to decide but I ended up choosing the Ozeri Elite Chef Black Ceramic 3-Piece Knife Set and I'm very, very happy with my choice.

The Elite Chef Black Ceramic Knife Set includes 3 ultra-sharp 100% ceramic knives: a 6′ Chef's Knife, a 5′ Slicing Knife, and a 3′ Paring Knife.  These are by far, the best knives I have ever owned and they effortlessly slice through fruits, vegetables, and boneless meats with unmatched ease. I use them for absolutely everything-- from cutting up Z's food into smaller pieces to preparing meat and vegetables for dinner.

Since these are made with the purest ceramic, they are extremely hard. In fact, they are close to the hardness of diamonds and because of this, they maintain their superior sharpness 10 times longer than tradition chef knives. The blades are finished with a reflective black veneer, and they will never rust, corrode or leach metal ions from long-term exposure to moisture, oils and acids in common foods as most regular knives do. As if all that wasn't good enough, each Ozeri ceramic knife weighs less than half of an equivalent metal knife, thereby reducing fatigue and pain associating with preparing big meals and repetitive cutting.

 I cannot believe how light these knives are and how comfortable the handles feel in my hand. My biggest concern was that they are made of ceramic and I had never owned ceramic knives before but Ozeri includes a user guide with the knives that lets you know how to care for and properly use your new knives. The knives also come in a great box that I placed in my utensil drawer to keep them safe!
