I love things that are all natural-- including soaps! I've been trying to rid my life of harsh chemicals, toxins, and preservatives all the way from food to bathroom products. Its interesting how much people worry about what they put IN their bodies and not so much what they put ON their bodies. How natural is the soap you use? Do you know what all the ingredients even are? I love that the my new Girly Goats only has 6 ingredients (Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Goat's Milk, Palm Oil, Lye, and Fragrance) and I know what every single ingredient is!
Girly Goats is part of a farm called Hidden Springs Farm that is located in Springfield, TN. Their handmade soaps are made in small batches and cured for 4 weeks before being packaged. Girly Goats offers a variety of fragrances (next I want to try Pumpkin Lager and Winter White). In addition to soap, Girly Goats also make other handcrafted bath and body products like Gardener's Salve, Goat's Milk Lotion, Lip Whip, and more.
Gwendolyn, Isabell, Olivia, Abby, and Amelia are the "girls" who supply farm fresh milk for the Girly Goats Handcrafted Goat's Milk Soaps. They are milked twice a day, by hand, and their milk is used exclusively in the Girly Girls soaps. Then each bar is hand poured, hand cut, and cured for 4 full weeks.

How cute is this packaging?? |
I was so lucky to receive the Cucumber Melon scent (which also happens to my favorite scent). It smells so fresh and clean with a hint of melon and cucumber. I use it every time I shower and it truly it is the perfect everyday scent and it leaves my skin feeling super soft. I love it so much that I will have to buy more when it runs out!
If any of you live within the area, Girly Goats also offers classes in Soap Making. They have folks from all around Tennessee and Kentucky attend their classes! Classes start in the early Spring and go all the way into the Fall.
Overall, I absolutely love Girly Goats Handcrafted Goat's Milk Soap and I would recommend them to anyone looking to try something new, natural, and amazing! I love that the packing is eco-friendly (its made from all recycled materials) and its really cute! I think one of my favorite aspects about this company is that they use honey from their local beekeeper and they find the finest ingredients available.
