My favorite feature about the Precision Elite is how big the screen is so you can easily see the temperature, it also comes with a bright blue backlight that is helpful if you are checking the temperature of food still in the oven. I also like that there is also a button on the thermometer that let's you "hold" the internal temperate on the screen even after you remove the thermometer from the food. Cons:
