My favorite series of books and movies when I was growing up was The Berenstain Bears. In fact, we still watch the original Berenstain Bears Christmas movie every year and we own several of the original books. Z absolutely shares my love for the Berenstain Bears and it makes me such a proud mama. We were very excited to learn that on March 1st, the Berenstain Bears newest board book "Please & Thank You" will be available!
Stan and Jan Berenstain introduced the first Berenstain Bear books in 1962 and the Bear family celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2012! Here the charming and lovable Bear family is once again introducing children to the typical issues and questions that they face every day.

About the author:
Mike Berenstain grew up watching his parents work together to write about and draw these lovable bears. Eventually he started drawing and writing about them too. Though Stan died in 2005 and Jan in 2012, Mike carries on his parents’ love of creating Berenstain Bear stories from an area in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, which looks a lot like Bear Country.
This book actually could not have come at a better time because even though Z is really good at saying "thank you," we have been working on her saying "please" when she asks for something. She absolutely loves seeing her favorite characters use their manners and we have been reading this cute book at least three times a day since receiving it.
