Hey Mama Teas is a line of organic teas designed for pregnant mamas as well as nursing mamas. The teas come in 4 flavors, Prenatal flavors: Minty Morning, & Lemon Glow as well as Postnatal flavors: Life’s A Peach & Raspberry Divine. All I have to do is refrigerate them, open and enjoy a bottle of absolutely refreshing tea full of folic acid and a combination of beneficial herbal supplements.
"Hey Mama is set apart by its commitments to bringing joy to moms by providing safe and delicious ready to drink beverages suited to fit their needs. Hey Mama Teas are naturally caffeine free, ready to drink, herbal teas specifically formulated for pregnant and nursing moms. We used the safest, highest quality and best tasting ingredients to provide support during and after pregnancy."
My favorite by far of the group is the "Life's A Peach" flavor! It's addicting and I would drink one of those all the days of my life if I could afford it. My second favorite is the Minty Morning and it has been so helpful for my morning sickness which has been horrible this time around. My husband tried all the flavors with me and his favorite was the Lemon Glow and I thought he was going to drink it all before I got the chance to even try it!
One of my favorite things about the Hey Mama Teas is they have a very short and simple ingredient list. Here's a peak at some of the natural ingredients in the teas:
Organic Fenugreek: Slightly sweet and nutty in flavor. Traditionally used to help support healthy breast milk production.
Organic Fennel: Relished for it's anise-like aroma and taste. Traditionally used to help support healthy breast milk production.
Organic Chamomile: Moms will be smitten with its mildly bittersweet, flowery taste and its soothing and calming nature to the body, mind and spirit.
Organic Red Raspberry Leaf: Full bodied and mildly fruity. Known to gently nurture and tone the uterus.
Organic Oat Straw: Mildly sweet and soothing. Provides nutrients that reinforce the nerves, particularly when the body is under stress.
Organic Blessed Thistle: Contains bitter compounds. Known to increase breast milk supply.

Overall, I'm really happy with the taste of the Hey Mama Teas and anything that is going to help me while I'm pregnant or nursing is a win in my book. Since I'm trying to be mindful of what I'm putting in my body, I love that Hey Mama Teas are naturally caffeine-free, contain 100% of RDA of folic acid, are USDA organic, gmo-free, and kosher.
P.S. Stay tuned because soon I'm going to make a post of what we decided to do with our empty glass bottles. They're such a great shape that I had tons of ideas!
