Citrus Lane Review and 50% Off Your First Box!

I had never actually tried a monthly subscription box service before but thanks to Citrus Lane, I'm now a fan! Citrus Lane is a subscription box service that sends your child age appropriate goodies every month! Baby Z and I were both excited to open up the box to see what surprises we had in store for us. This was the content of our first Citrus Lane box:

Crocodile Creek Frogs 5 inch Ball - The first thing Baby Z saw was the ball, she scooped it up and has hardly put it down since. I had to wait until she fell asleep for a nap so I could take a picture of everything. It is made of rubber, and contains no PVC, BPA or vinyl.

Hand Sanitizer Wipes - Although I'm not a fan of the scent I recieved (Orange Vanilla), I love the convenience of these wipes! I just threw them in my diaper bag and use them whenever we're on the go! I love that they are alcohol free and safe for kids!

Paper Bowling Set - This is a new concept for Citrus Lane to include an activity like this. We received paper ABC bowling pins that Baby Z could color and then we could set them up and "bowl" with the playground ball. Very cute and she loves to color!

Paddington Bear Bandages - Cute tin box of 20 latex free band-aids with Paddington Bear on them! Who couldn't use more band-aids when they have a toddler??

2 Plum Kids Fruit Straws - We love Plum Organic Snacks but we had never tried these before so it was nice to get a sample! Made with real fruit, these fruit straws taste like fruit snacks but they are in fun straw shapes!

Octopus Opposites Book  - Every child (including Z) that has been in my house since we got this book has LOVED it. It has quickly become Baby Z's favorite book and I caught my niece trying to take it home with her. This book alone was worth it to me because it was so perfect for us!

A coupon code for a free outfit from Fabkids.com - Shipping still costs $5 but the "free" outfit is totally worth $5 because most of their clothes are so cute! I am, however, disappointed that the card with the code for my "free" outfit didn't mention anywhere on it that I would have to pay shipping and neither did the fabkids website until I checked out. Very misleading. Its fine if I have to pay shipping but at least tell me upfront!
Fell asleep while we read her favorite new book!
Overall, I'm really happy with our box and Baby Z loved everything as well! I loved being able to try out all these Mom-approved brands and products that I have never heard of before. I can't believe this is the first subscription box we have ever received... have we been living under a rock?? Citrus Lane subscription boxes are awesome! I think these subscriptions would make a great baby shower or birthday gift! I know Baby Z and I sure would love to receive one as a gift (hint hint!).
