Easy@Home 3-in-1 Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer Review

Well, cold and flu season has begun and I dont know about your family, but mine has already gone through a round of sickness. I've been thinking about how big of a coincidence it is that we received the Easy@Home Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer was the day before both my husband and my child both got sick... It was seriously perfect timing so we got a real chance to see just how well it works.

"Experience quick and simple temperature taking with the Easy@Home NCT-301 non-contact, infrared thermometer. This easy to use thermometer has the latest infrared technology to display accurate readings within a second. There is no longer any physical contact necessary to get a simple temperature reading, it should always be this easy!"

My favorite part of having a non-contact thermometer is that you can check a baby's (and anyone's) temperature while they are sleeping without waking them up. Instead of startling or irritating your children, this thermometer reads at a distance and notifies you silently. Eliminating physical contact decreases the chance of cross contamination between users while silent monitoring will not disturb them. The thermometer has a beeping sound to alert for high temperatures, however this feature can be disabled so that no sound emits while taking measurements.
I've owned a non-contact thermometer before but it didn't come with a cool storage case like this one does. Another really cool feature I found with the Easy@Home Thermometer is actually in the instruction booklet; there's a "normal temperatures according to age" chart that tells you basically what temperatures are considered normal for different ages. A really cool feature for any mom. Also, only 2 AAA batteries are needed for this thermometer so if the batteries die, they're not that difficult to replace.

The Easy@Home thermometer comes with 3 different modes: body, room, and surface so it's more than just a body thermometer. Pretty cool! The LCD display will also show one of three colors based on the temperature. Not only does this display make reading temperatures easier in the dark, but the three colors indicate different ranges. A green display (<99.1°F (37.3°C)) indicates normal temperature, yellow display 99.3°F~100.2°F (37.4°C~37.9°C) indicates low-fever and red display >100.4°F (38°C) indicates high-fever. It simplifies taking your child's temperature even more!

Overall, we're extremely happy with the Easy@Home Thermometer and would recommend it to any family! This thermometer is FDA approved and Pediatrician recommended. I also love that they offer a lifetime no hassle replacement guarantee for customers.

  3. I really like that it uses AAA batteries. We have the ones with the coin looking battery and if we don't bring the battery with us we always buy the wrong one!!!
