Master the art of letting go with the Original Buddha Board

I'm a fan of anything that is made with the sole purpose of relaxing and letting things go. I mean, who couldn't use more relaxation in their life? My whole family was really interested in testing the Original Buddha Board and we had it out and ready to use within 10 minutes of it being delivered!

"The Original Buddha Board is inspired by the Zen idea of living in the moment. Simply add half an inch of water to the water tray, gently place the board into the notches of the tray, dip your bamboo brush in the water and ‘paint’ on the special surface of the board, watching as your creation boldly comes to life. As the water slowly evaporates your art will magically disappear, leaving you with a clean slate, a clear mind, & ready to create a whole new masterpiece."

We all really love the Buddha Board especially Z; she absolutely adores it! The basic idea of the Buddha Board is to remind you to live in the moment and help you relax. You simply paint on the board’s special surface with water; the image darkens and then slowly fades away. It effortlessly brings out the creative side that exists in all of us. The Original Buddha Board comes with a bamboo brush and ‘Japanese style’ water tray / stand. Buddha Board is environmentally friendly - no ink, no paint, no chemicals - and will last for years with proper care.

Dimensions: 12” x 9.5” x 1/4”

When I originally heard about the Buddha Board, my first thought was what a great addition this would be for a "calm down" area for a child. If you've never heard of a calm down area (or a calm down corner/jar/etc.) its a place for a(n older) child to go when they are frustrated and need to calm down a bit. How great would something like this be for that? Just using gentle strokes to create whatever you want and then you can watch as it "magically" disappears would help calm down even the most worked up child plus there is no mess to clean up!

My family and I absolutely love the Buddha Board, I have it set up on a shelf in the hallway and every time I pass by it, I smile. I love sitting down and taking a second for myself to relax and let things go! It so simple yet so helpful.
