Kick off this summer with a trip to The Henry Ford and Greenfield Village!

I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer so far! One of our favorite things to do in the summer is hang out at the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. We love spending a sunny day wandering around Greenfield Village or spending a rainy or hot day inside the Henry Ford Museum! Since we enjoy it as a family so much, I wanted to let you know about all the exciting activities at the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village both this week and all summer long.

Also, if you are still looking for something to do this Father's Day weekend, look no further! We are going to celebrate my wonderful husband by taking him to Motor Muster at Greenfield Village this weekend! Since he's the biggest gearhead I know, this is going to be PERFECT for him. We hope to see you there!

Motor Muster
June 20-21, 2015 (Open Saturday 'til 9pm)
Gearheads and diehard car lovers -- this is your weekend at Greenfield Village.
This weekend, Greenfield Village will be filled with over 850 cars from 1930s to 1970s. The whole family can enjoy watching the cars in action as they take to the streets in pass-in-review parades, or twist the night away on Saturday during Record Hop USA! Featuring fun music and entertainment. Kids especially will love:
Driving reproduction pedal cars at Junior Driver’s Ed
Building, decorating, and racing their very own derby cars with Pine Car Enthusiasts

Historic Baseball Games
Every Saturday and Sunday in Greenfield Village
Watch a historic baseball game that is played by 1867 rules and feature live music! I have always wanted to go to this so I'm really excited to be able to check it out this summer! Can you imagine playing baseball with no gloves? Sounds crazy!

Roadside America
June 20, 2015 - January 24, 2016
This new photography exhibit starts this weekend and takes a quirky and heartwarming look at American culture through the lens of John Margolies that everyone can appreciate.

Tinker. Hack. Invent. Saturdays
Every Saturday in Greenfield Village
Every Saturday, kids and their parents can come and try their hand at something new. This month participants can make their own Camp Light Lamp- It’s fun to make, and something that they can use all summer long!

Don’t forget that all summer long they have lots of other great daily activities at The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village such as crafts, dramatic presentations, hand-on activities, train and Model T rides, and more!

All photos belong to The Henry Ford. I was not compensated for this post in any way. I just though I'd share along some info!
