Easy Chicken and Dumplings Recipe

The weather is starting to get cold again in Michigan so I thought it would be a great time to share one of my go-to cold day meals. This Chicken and Dumplings has that great comfort food taste to it. Its a little thick (think gravy), tastes amazing over egg noodles, and unfortunately, none of this is gluten-free. As the mother of a girl who is growing up in this beauty-obsessed world, I often think about how I can make sure she knows how precious and perfect she is, inside and out. This story was a great reminder for both of us-- God created her to be special, He loves her just they way she is, and He does not make mistakes.

Chocolate Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies

No bake cookies are one of my favorite things on Earth and this is a simple, classic homemade recipe for them! I'm warning you that this recipe is dangerously addicting and not healthy at all but it is soooo good! They're easy to make and you'll only need ingredients that probably already have! 

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions
1. Stir the butter, sugar, cocoa, and milk together in a saucepan, and cook on medium heat until it boils.  Boil for about 3 minutes.
2. Remove from heat and add the oatmeal, peanut butter, and vanilla.  Stir until thoroughly mixed.
3. Drop by spoonful onto waxed paper or a lightly greased cookie sheet, and allow the cookies to cool and harden slightly.

Yes, they're that simple and YES, they're that good.

The Baby Safe Ink Print Kit is a must have for every new baby registry! I really wish I would've had this when Baby Z was born. Right before she was born, I had bought a non-toxic ink pad for her but the footprint came out really light and when I put the footprint in her baby book, it smeared ink all over the place! Even 2 years later, if you touch her footprint, you'll get ink on your hand! Ridiculous! Well, luckily for my next baby I have found The Baby Safe Ink Print Kit! I would highly recommend this DVD to anyone looking to add something educational and fun to their Halloween traditions!
